The waiting
Apple finally released new PowerBooks, so now I begin waiting 3-5 business days plus shipping time.
Impatient!
But man, it’s been a long time since I owned a Mac. I’m looking forward to rejoining the cult.

Heh. I think I’m still waiting until they either have G5 laptops, or maybe just until my old G3 upgraded 8100/80 dies and I need another box to connect to all of my old SCSI devices.
p.s. your comment entry box here seems broken (at least under IE). If I start typing, it seems to get larger
and run into your right hand link bar so that the bar hides some of my text before it wraps around. However, if I resize the window, then the box resizes correctly with respect to the bar, and adds a correct scroll bar.

G5 PowerBooks? I think you’ll be waiting a long long time, unfortunately.
In Apple’s last quarter-end conference call they called them “the mother of all thermal challenges”.
Also, I’ll poke at the comment box — honestly it’s been a long time since I used IE, so if there are IE problems I am unlikely to notice them.

Oh? Is your current Mac in the shop again? I am confused.
