Stormblades, prepped
Today's sneak-downstairs-during-naptime progress:
Stormblade Infantry, mostly prepped for assembly. The small scale is interesting, because everything else that size that I've built has been resin and fit quite well. These are metal, and the fit's lot looser. I've already had to do quite a bit of hobby knife field surgery, and I'll probably need to pin the torso join here, and will definitely need to break out the modeling putty and sculpting tools to make the torso-to-leg transition look fine.
I'm a little worried about the putty work because I haven't done anything like that but, well, I guess you only learn by trying.
The arm joins are also a little fiddly, and the one with the detached head may not fit very well. Not sure how that's going to work out. Even if I do get a nice smooth join, painting in the neck area is going to be tricky.
